RECIPES FROM THE ROAD

Coming soon- A collection of recipes I’ve collected across the globe highlighting obscure and curious cuisines.

Recipes

  • How to Tajine– An article and recipe on the famous dish of North Africa. It would be impossible to portray Morocco culturally without mention of the indigenous stew.

  • How to Kanafeh: The beloved Arabian cheese pastry. A marriage of finely spun phyllo dough, called kataifi, that is layered with cheese and bathed in attar, a honey based syrup. The resulting Kanafeh is dabbed with rose water and has a survival rate of about 0.00% when confronted by a hungry traveler.

Gooey on the inside with a crunchy exterior. Full of salty cheese, sweet honey and fragrant rose water … Need a say more?

    1. Right back at you! I enjoy the how seamlessly you dance from one genera to the next. Be it poetry, politics, now children’s stories (my nephew would enjoy ‘Clarence the Cricket.) Hope all is well in the blogosphere out there and thank you for taking the time to check out my site.
